DocumentationExport
Export
Export writes files from the current manuscript and bibliography. Preflight checks length, structure, and cited DOIs against Crossref when they are present. A Crossref miss is reported as not checked, not a pass.
Formats
Click Export. Choose LaTeX (IEEEtran), Word (.docx, IEEE), Markdown, Plain text, or BibTeX (.bib).
LaTeX can download an external rivul.bib (IEEE classic) or an inline single file. Word offers A4 or Letter. LaTeX offers IEEE journal or IEEE conference.
Camera-ready ZIP
In the export dialog, click Camera-ready ZIP. The archive contains paper.tex, rivul.bib, a README, and figure files when they can be resolved.
Preflight
In the export dialog, click Preflight — or choose Export / Camera-ready ZIP for an IEEE package (LaTeX, Word, or ZIP). Rivul runs the report first and shows it in the panel; confirm Download to get the files. Checks include an estimated page count, required headings (Abstract or Introduction), leftover placeholders such as Your Name or an email address, mechanical consistency, a journal-readiness score, and retraction status for cited DOIs (the same Crossref path as Source quality).
Warnings do not block download. If Crossref does not respond, Preflight says the references were not checked — that is not a pass. Preflight does not certify that every reference is unretracted. Markdown, plain text, and BibTeX export without this gate.
Bibliography ownership
You may download .tex, .bib, Word, Markdown, and plain text at any time. The bibliography is not withheld behind a paid plan.
